Role Summary

As a Remote Assistant, you are a key part of our operations. You serve as the local point of contact between our sellers and the carriers — receiving shipments at your location, verifying their contents, preparing them for dispatch, and getting them out the door to the right destination.

Without Remote Assistants, our decentralized model simply does not work. Your role is what allows us to keep operations efficient, costs low, and our clients' businesses running on time. Every package you handle directly impacts a seller's livelihood — which is why accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail matter in this position.

  1. Receive between 50 and 200 packages per month from carriers such as USPS, FedEx, and UPS. On occasion, you may also be asked to pick up packages directly from a retail store.
  2. Inspect the contents of each package to confirm items are in good condition and match the order details.
  3. Document each package with a detailed report, noting any discrepancies or damage found during inspection.
  4. Prep packages for shipment by securely applying the provided shipping labels and ensuring everything is properly packaged.
  5. Drop off packages at your local post office or coordinate a carrier pickup as needed.
  6. Make sure every package reaches its destination on time and in excellent condition.
Most of your work will be done remotely from home, with the exception of dropping off packages at the post office and occasional in-store pickups. All receiving, shipping, and reporting tasks are expected to be completed without delays — timely execution is a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive packages and letters from postal carriers including FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, and others
  • Pick up packages directly from retail stores when needed
  • Pack and unpack parcels as required
  • Carefully inspect the condition of each box and its contents
  • Photograph package contents to document their condition
  • Prepare detailed reports based on your inspection findings
  • Consolidate or separate packages according to shipping requirements
  • Ship packages to the company's clients
All shipping costs are covered by the company in advance — you will not be responsible for any out-of-pocket shipping expenses.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Must have access to the internet, a cell phone, a scale, and ideally a printer
  • Must have enough storage space at home to accommodate up to 10 packages (approx. 20×20×15 inches each)
  • Must be able to transport packages weighing up to 25 lbs to a UPS or FedEx location
  • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Upon hire, you will begin a one-month probationary period. Performance is monitored across three key areas: timely package inspection, accurate report submission, and reliable package delivery to the post office.

There are no out-of-pocket costs involved in this role. All shipments use prepaid labels provided by the company — you will never be asked to cover receiving or shipping expenses.

Maximum Monthly Earnings
Each month you are eligible for a performance bonus of up to 100% of your base salary, based on completing all shipments within deadlines and submitting reports on time. Performance is reviewed quarterly — consistently high performers receive an additional bonus equal to one full month's salary.
